First Day Of School
In October 2003 Father Annis led me as we travelled three hours by mule to St. Agnes. My saddle was actually a real saddle. Normally it is a hard peice of wood covered by a blanket. The rein was a rope. This little girl was so shy, she would not come near me. In the morning she reappeared dressed in her school uniform. Again I tried to get cose to her - but no way she was so shy.
