Port Du Ciel Orphanage
Sister Claire is quite a lady. She celebrated her 80th birthday Feb 04. She was very excited to share with me how excited all her children were to plan her big birthday party. Sister founded the orphanage just outside Cap-Haiten several years ago. I love to visit the home. Sister loves each child and proudly shares the stories of how each child came to her door in need of a loving home. Her philosophy is to raise the chilren in a loving home. She believes it is important to eat as a family, work as a family, pray as a family. Her goal is to raise her children to be productive citizens of Haiti. She has recently completed a new building which has rooms for sewing, computers, and a tech room for the boys. May God continue to bless Sister Claire with good health.
