Providing Preventive Dental Care & Services for the People of Haiti
Sister Biane
I first made contact with Sister Biane in September 2001 via email, It was through her that I contacted Dr. Suzelle and Dr. Charles. Sister continues to coordinate the schools in Cap-Haitien, in preparation for my arrival for preventive dental care, on each trip. She has done amazing things in Haiti. Her facility is located in a very poverty stricken area in Cap-Haitien. Her Centre provides classes for pre and post-natal care. An early child care class monitors the development of each child. Moms and dads are taught ways to stimulate their two and three year olds. Sister also has a pharmacy and a work shop where prosthetics are made. I was pleased to meet the American gentleman who greatly assists with custom made prosthetics for Haitans. Sister is always on the go, full of energy. I am honoured to be working with this special lady!
