This is my little friend Maita. While I am visiting my friends in Cap-Haitien, Maita is usually on my knee. During the difficulties in February 2004, Maita was locked behind high walls of her home away from the troubled streets of Cap-Haitien. I ask your prayers for the people of Haiti and most especially for all my dear friends. Poverty, violence and daily struggles continue to plague this country in the West Indies.
